Welcome to Ability Action Australia!

Company Description

We are a national therapy services provider dedicated to helping NDIS participants – children, adolescents, and adults (0-65 years) – improve their access, development, independence, and overall health and wellbeing. Help us help others to achieve these goals.

About Your AAA-Team

Our South Perth team values collaboration and fun! You will work alongside a dynamic group including OTs, Speechies, Physios, EPs, Psychologists, and Behaviour Support Practitioners. We enjoy team gatherings at our Jandakot community hub and local cafes to support participants, each other, and socialise. Our Regional Manager, Hannah Dawson, is a Physio who understands your role, and her dog Rosie often visits the office!

Job Description

You will support vulnerable community members by acting as an advocate and role model. Your daily responsibilities will include:

1. Evaluating, developing, and delivering evidence-based support plans.
2. Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies within a positive behaviour support framework, aiming to eliminate restrictive practices.
3. Building the knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those supporting participants, such as family and carers.
4. Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.

About You

To succeed, you should have:

* A degree-level qualification as an allied health professional (e.g., OT, Speech, Social Work) is preferred.
* Experience in creating, implementing, and reviewing behaviour support plans.
* Core, Proficient, Advanced, or Specialist status as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner.

What’s in it for you?

We support you as you support others! Benefits include:

* Flexible hybrid working model.
* Excellent remuneration – generous base salary, car allowance, phone, laptop, and performance program.
* Work-life balance with options to work from home, in the office, or out in the community.
* Career development opportunities within Ability Action Australia and MedHealth.
* A passionate, values-driven culture focused on outstanding service.
* A supportive team that celebrates successes and social events.
* Exceptional clinical support, including weekly supervision and ongoing training.
