As an industry leader and employer of choice, we're Made for More.RoleTRADES ASSISTANT | MACHINE SHOPWesTrac is currently seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Trades Assistant to join our Machine Shop in Tomago.Our Machine Shop is home to a diverse and skilled group of Fitter Machinists, Boilermakers, NDT Technicians, Trades Assistants, and Support Staff, delivering high-quality machining and reclamation services to some of our largest mining customers across NSW.Reporting to the Workshop Supervisors, this hands-on role will see you supporting our tradespeople by:Cleaning and inspecting CAT componentsPerforming cylinder honingAssisting with general workshop duties, including yard work and equipment handlingThis is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the heavy industry, with the potential for training and upskilling to expand your capabilities.
