We are seeking an experienced professional to drive sales growth and market share by promoting our Obesity and Metabolic Health portfolio to key surgeons and clinical staff within a designated geographic area.
About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for promoting and selling products and services within an assigned territory. Key responsibilities include:
1. Promoting and selling products and services within an assigned geographic area.
2. Accountable for meeting or exceeding sales targets.
3. Developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including procurement and healthcare professionals.
4. Pursuing leads, assessing needs, and providing product services to maximize benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services.
5. Promoting and establishing education of the company's products and/or services.
6. Conducting market research including customers and competitor activities.
7. Promoting a 'win as a team' mentality and supporting colleagues and synergistic portfolios where possible.
8. Implementing market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
9. Communicating customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Science, Nursing, or Business related discipline.
2. Proven sales experience selling into hospitals with a success track record in the medical devices.
3. A strong understanding of the Australia public and private healthcare system and experience working within Operating Theatres.
4. Solid clinical knowledge with the ability to build strong working relationships with key surgeons and other medical staff.
5. A self-motivated attitude with a resilient approach who strives to exceed customer expectations and deliver outstanding results.
