Contract Maintenance Lead

Salary range: From $123k (level

Location: York St, Beenleigh

Position: Full time

About the role

We are seeking a Contract Maintenance Lead to act as the crucial link between Logan Water's maintenance strategies and the delivery of contracted maintenance across our water and wastewater networks. You will develop optimised plans and schedules that align with Asset Management Plans, Maintenance Plans and tactical programs while ensuring maintenance is delivered efficiently, safely and in accordance with procurement and budget settings.

A key focus of this role is future focused improvement. We are looking for someone ready to embrace new ideas, new technologies and smarter ways of working to improve how Council performs operation and maintenance across its water and wastewater infrastructure. This includes contributing to a 12 month review of maintenance contract management practices and helping shape how this function develops over time.

Key indicators:

* Develop and deliver integrated contract maintenance plans and processes that support effective, efficient and cost conscious maintenance delivery.
* Balance service, cost and risk to increase planned maintenance and reduce reactive disruptions.
* Establish and maintain data based prioritisation frameworks for emerging asset risks and performance issues.
* Ensure data captured through maintenance activities aligns with quality requirements and supports the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
* Undertake procurement and contract management activities including specifications, tender evaluations and contract management planning.
* Improve and streamline end to end maintenance processes and workflows including system improvements within TechOne.
* Lead cost oversight, financial monitoring and reporting related to contracted maintenance.
* Coordinate and allocate planned maintenance delivered by contractors across Logan Water's asset portfolio.

You'll possess

* Qualifications in Engineering or Project and Program Management highly regarded.
* Demonstrated experience in coordinator or team leader roles within water, utilities, maintenance or asset management environments.
* Knowledge of maintenance planning frameworks for water and wastewater networks.
* Experience in contract management, scheduling and maintenance delivery.
* Ability to drive innovation, continuous improvement and future focused service delivery.
* Strong commercial acumen along with excellent communication and negotiation capability.
* Experience leading maintenance focused business transformation.
