Administration Support Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to provide administrative support within our services. As an Administration Assistant, you will be responsible for providing clerical/administrative support using IT systems to capture patient activity.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to work well under pressure. They will be a flexible team player who can adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Main duties include:
* Booking outpatient appointments
* Communicating with patients via telephone
* Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
* Scanning and filing documents
* Liaising with other services and external companies
The role also involves providing general administrative services, supporting with the booking of Gastroenterology appointments and Endoscopy procedures, receiving and sorting daily post, date stamping and distributing as appropriate, photocopying, faxing and posting documentation, dealing with telephone or face-to-face enquiries, and updating relevant databases and patient information systems.
