About the Role
Midwives will support women and families through pregnancy, labour, birth, and postnatal care across hospital and community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care
* Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing
* Support safe and informed birthing experiences
* Educate families on newborn care and recovery
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent
* AHPRA registration (or eligibility)
* English language proficiency
* Minimum 24 months of recent acute care experience
* Willingness to relocate to Canberra for at least 3 years
What ACT Health Offers:
