This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to provide strategic direction, clinical governance, and operational leadership across a comprehensive Obstetrics & Gynaecology service delivering care across hospital, community, and outreach settings. You will play a pivotal role in shaping service delivery, driving clinical excellence, and supporting innovation within one of Queensland's leading tertiary and referral health services.

About the Role
As Clinical Director, you will:>
* Provide strateg leadership and direction for the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology
* Lead the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred care
* Oversee clinical governance, workforce planning, and service development
* Ensure compliance with Queensland Health policies, professional standards, and ethical practice
* Work closely with executive leadership, multidisciplinary teams, and external stakeholders
* Support education, training, research, and continuous quality improvement
About You
* Medical qualification with eligibility for specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia
* FRANZCOG (highly desirable) or equivalent specialist qualification
* Demonstrated experience in senior clinical leadership within Obstetrics & Gynaecology
* Strong governance, service planning, and workforce leadership capability
* Commitment to education, safety, and continuous improvement
Remuneration & Benefits
* Total Remuneration Package: $428,904 – $536,916 p.a.
* Attraction & Retention Allowance: Up to 50% of base salary
* Motor Vehicle Allowance: $21,000 – $25,500 p.a.
* Professional Development Allowance: $21,500 p.a.
* Professional Development Leave: 3.6 weeks p.a.
* Annual Leave: 4–6 weeks + 14%–17.5% leave loading
* Superannuation: 12.75% employer contribution
