About the role
Black Cow Bistro is looking for an experienced Casual Waiter to join our dynamic team in our Launceston restaurant. As a casual waiter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our patrons in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
What you'll be doing
* Greeting and seating customers in a friendly and professional manner
* Taking food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
* Delivering food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
* Providing recommendations on menu items and daily specials
* Clearing and resetting tables between customers
* Assisting with side duties such as restocking and cleaning as required
* Maintaining a high level of customer service at all times
What we're looking for
* At least 2 years of experience in a similar casual waiting role within the hospitality industry
* Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Good knowledge of food and beverage offerings and the ability to make recommendations
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
* A passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience
