Toowoomba Grammar School (TGS) is seeking a skilled and dedicated Inclusive Education Teacher to deliver an inclusive curriculum that meets the needs of all learners across Years 7 -12. This is a teaching position and requires current (or eligibility for) teacher registration in Queensland. In this role, you will collaborate with classroom teachers and work closely with our Diverse Learning team to create an environment where every student can thrive.
The ideal candidate has a mathematics background, expertise in learning support/intervention, and the ability to adapt curriculum and use technology to improve access and outcomes for all students.

About TGS
Founded in 1875, TGS is a member school of the Great Public Schools Association of Queensland (GPS). It is an independent non-denominational day and boarding school for boys with a total enrolment of 1,200 from Preparatory to Year 12. There are 300 boarders in the school coming predominantly from throughout Queensland, Northern New South Wales and the Northern Territory.

About the Position
TGS Teachers play a pivotal role in designing and delivering innovative teaching programs aligned with our learning philosophies. Your expertise will contribute to cultivating an environment that empowers students to become confident, independent thinkers. You will collaborate with a supportive academic team and engage with various stakeholders, including parents and fellow educators.
Selection Criteria:
You will be able to demonstrate your ability and commitment to:
* Teaching expertise: Demonstrated ability to design and deliver innovative teaching and learning programs aligned with the Queensland and Australian Curriculum. Strong knowledge of effective, evidence-based pedagogy, with the capacity to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
* Subject matter knowledge and curriculum development: Demonstrated expertise in Mathematics (or a closely related learning area), including the ability to communicate concepts clearly, build student engagement and curiosity, and collaborate to design, review and adapt curriculum that reflects required standards and the school’s values.
* Professional engagement and contribution (aligned with the school ethos and AITSL Standards): Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional learning and reflective practice. Active contribution to the broader life of the school (including co-curricular activities, the House system and pastoral care), and a proven ability to foster a positive and inclusive culture, uphold the school’s values, mentor students, and continuously improve practice in line with AITSL Standards.
