Day Stay Admissions Officer

Remuneration: $68,338.79 – $70,468.72 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging.

Employment type: Temporary Full Time, 6 months, 38 hrs/week.

As the Day Stay Admissions Coordinator you will ensure a smooth and positive experience for patients throughout their theatre journey. Your attention to detail and friendly approach will make a real difference.

Day‑to‑Day Duties

- Admitting all patients for theatre, ensuring all paperwork is complete and accurate.
- Discharging patients efficiently and with care.
- Preparing all theatre documentation and labels.
- Supporting the theatre team to maintain smooth patient flow.

What You Bring to the Team

We’re seeking someone who is available for an early start (6 – 6:30 am) Monday to Friday, and who brings strong organisational skills with great attention to detail. A friendly, professional, and patient‑focused approach is key, and while experience in admissions is a plus, we value a proactive attitude and a willingness to support our team and patients from the very first interaction.
