About The Role
This Senior Leadership position oversees the financial operations of the business, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all financial processes.
The role provides high-quality insights to support strategic decision-making, leading group-wide financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversight of month-end close and reporting in line with deadlines.
* Cash flow forecasting and working capital optimization.
* Management of statutory compliance calendar tasks, including BAS, Payroll Tax, PAYG, FBT, Income Tax, workers' comp, and insurances.
* Collaboration with various stakeholders to drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
* Preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards and local regulations.
* Submission of monthly Finance Board Pack with results analysis and commentary.
* Quarterly divisional forecasting and annual financial planning.
* Leadership of FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
* Oversight of payroll processing and legislative compliance.
* Finance project leadership, including system upgrades and business transformations.
* Maintenance of robust internal controls and compliance policies.
* Monitoring of financial covenants and obligations to stakeholders.
* Coordination of annual audits and tax return preparation.
* Leadership and development of the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
* Alignment of financial strategy with business goals through collaboration with executive leadership.
About You
You are a senior finance expert with:
* CPA/CA qualification and extensive experience in financial leadership.
* Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory compliance.
* Proven ability to lead teams and drive continuous improvement.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with non-financial stakeholders.
* A passion for structured approach and attention to detail.
