What you will do In the Data and Systems Team Leader role, you will: * Oversee and maintain IT and data repository systems, ensuring reliability, security, and efficiency in line with government policies. * Lead the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of workforce-related systems, including user access management, permissions, and governance controls. * Provide leadership, guidance and training to team members to support comprehensive reporting of casual workforce within required timelines. * Analyse complex datasets to support decision-making and provide actionable insights through reports and dashboards. * Work with ICT to build, maintain and enhance databases, including data integrity, security, backups, and performance optimisation. * Identify and implement improvements and automation solutions to data management, system processes and business processes to enhance operational and data efficiency thus reducing manual workload. * Coordinate and support IT and data-related projects, including system upgrades, UAT Activities, migrations, decommissioning and integrations with internal and external platforms. * Lead the development and maintenance of documentation such as system manuals, process maps, data dictionaries and quality assurance procedures. * Support the design and enhancement of workforce reporting tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks using SQL, Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, and related technologies. * Provide expert advice to stakeholders on system capability, data requirements, design changes, and risk mitigation strategies. * Develop training materials and provide guidance to users and junior team members on system and data best practices. * Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes, including the tracking of progress to meet critical deadlines. Experience in database development and management, ICT solution oversight, reporting, and data visualization, particularly using SQL and Microsoft Power Platforms, will be highly regarded. Additionally, the ability to coordinate the delivery of work packages will be advantageous.
