Senior Portfolio Analyst Full-Time (35hpw) Permanent Opportunity Salary Range $129,464 - $142,665pa super Location flexible across Revenue NSW offices with hybrid working. Weekly landing day at Parramatta About the team The team is made up of a range of experienced Project, Finance, HR and Digital delivery professionals who manage governance and reporting over the portfolio of business and IT programs and projects within Revenue NSW. The team is also involved in the management of the projects pipeline, resource demand management and provides strategic and operational support to projects across all aspects of project delivery. The current portfolio consists of 24 in-flight projects with FY26 funding totalling approx. $70m. Key responsibilities: Assist our Portfolio Management Office and project delivery leads with the development, delivery, and governance of the project portfolios, including project planning, approval and reporting, portfolio analysis as well as planning and monitoring activities Drive new process improvement initiatives in customer, compliance, and support operational and advanced activities with portfolio analysis. Provide expert advice, information, and make recommendations to enable cross project consolidation and communication to support effective decision making To be successful in this role you will demonstrate: Previous experience of working in a PMO environment Strong industry experience in supporting PMO operations in Agile and waterfall environment. Ability to take ownership of tasks and be fully accountable for the delivery of work assignments on time and to expectations. Strong verbal and written communication skills A detailed understanding of project management methodologies and practices (PMBOK, Agile, etc.) Experience in reviewing and assessing business cases Experience in developing PMO related training and conducting education session for diverse stakeholders across the business Experience with developing and maintaining project financials Familiarity with project pipelines and resource capacity planning Experience working with tools like JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Teams Have advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, be capable of composing reports and business cases linked to the projects, create graphs and charts by analysing financial data.
