Commercial Building Surveyor Role

The ideal candidate will have:
* Accreditation or close to accreditation with AIBS, Access Canberra, Local Government, or private sector bodies.
* Tertiary qualification in Building Surveying, Construction, or related disciplines.
* Solid knowledge of BCA Volumes 1 & 2 and relevant Australian Standards.
* Familiarity with the Airports Act and Airport Building Control Regulations.
* Experience managing a diverse range of commercial and/or infrastructure projects.
* Strong interpersonal, time management, and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Bluebeam Revu.
* Australian citizenship is required for eligibility of baseline security clearance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of Tier 1 commercial and aviation projects, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders. Ensure all projects are completed within budget and meet quality standards. Develop strong relationships with clients to deliver exceptional service and ensure project success.
Support the growth and development of junior staff members, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Contribute to business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and collaborating with cross-functional teams to secure new projects.
* Develop and maintain strong industry connections, participating in networking events and conferences to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
