The role provides high-level advice on ICT matters, contributes to enterprise-wide decision-making, and leads the development of forward work plans, prioritisation frameworks, and performance reporting. * Assist in implementing governance frameworks and strategic planning processes that guide priorities, investment decisions and delivery of strategic initiatives.
* Provide high-quality advice and analysis to inform project planning, evaluate new initiatives, and drive process improvements.
* Work closely with the Shared Services Manager to coordinate ICT service delivery with the shared services provider, ensuring services are reliable, secure, and meet agreed performance standards.
* Contribute to the management and evolution of the Agency's enterprise architecture to ensure the ICT environment is secure, scalable and able to support current and future business needs.
* Support ICT improvement initiatives by applying secure-by-design and risk-aware principles, and monitoring risks, issues, and interdependencies.
* Prepare ICT-related committee papers, executive briefings, and performance reports, including the use of metrics and KPIs to track outcomes.
* Engage with stakeholders across technical, policy, and regional contexts to support alignment of ICT initiatives with Agency priorities and promote inclusive collaboration.

* Experience working with shared service arrangements and contributing to cross-agency initiatives.
* Understanding of government ICT procurement frameworks and awareness of emerging technologies including AI.
* Experience supporting vendor and contract management processes, including monitoring performance and ensuring value for money.
* Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable information for technical and non-technical audiences.
* Demonstrated technical knowledge with a sound understanding of cyber security principles, and ICT risk management.
* Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and drive improvements with minimal supervision.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in ICT, project management, business, or related disciplines (or equivalent experience).
