Overview
We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Avionics) to join our team in Dubbo, NSW. Your role
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections, troubleshoot issues, and carry out repairs on client aircraft to ensure compliance with regulations and technical publications, maintaining aircraft readiness and operational availability.
Accurately document all maintenance tasks, ensuring worksheets, logs, tracking systems, and other required records are completed and submitted promptly.
Work collaboratively with managers, engineers, pilots, and emergency service teams to optimize aircraft availability and performance.
Support base operations by preparing tasks, maintaining stores, and performing ground support equipment maintenance essential for ongoing operations.
Maintain accountability for tool control and ensure the cleanliness, organization and upkeep of hangars, workshops, related workspaces and vehicles.
Promote a strong safety culture by adhering to the safety management system and other company policies and procedures.
The essential requirements
Type Rated or 3+ years experience on the B200 (essential) and B350 King Air (Preferred)
Heavy Maintenance Experience
Experience leading an engineering team.
Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical) or Trade Certificate IV (Avionics)
CASA licence
Highly skilled and competent in aircraft avionic/mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components;
Strong team player;
Ability to follow supervisory direction;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
Passion for safe work practices;
Valid work visa;
Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and,
Driver's licence.
