About the Team
Our Seene (embedded networks) department provides simpleandeasyenergy to customers on behalf of the owner's corporation, property owner or embedded network owners. It is part of the EnergyAustralia group of companies. We provide energy servicesto over 100 apartment buildings, gated communities and retirement villages across Victoria, NSW, ACT and Queensland.
About the Role
The purpose of the Plumbing Supervisor – NSW is to oversee plumbing related work performed by licenced contractors. This unique part-time role averages just half a day per week—ideal for an experienced plumber looking to reduce hours or someone self-employed seeking additional responsibility. This role is critical to ensuring all plumbing work is delivered safely, compliantly, and to the highest quality standards. Other aspects of the role include :
* Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and industry standards
* Provide clear instructions and guidance to field technicians and subcontractors
* Conduct regular audit and quality checks on plumbing works and repair
* Perform routine safety inspections on plumbing installations / maintenance / repair, identifying potential hazards and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
* Maintain accurate records of work completed, including installation details, maintenance logs, incident reports, safety inspection findings, and audit outcomes
* Promote a safety-first culture among all personnel, including subcontractors. Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and guidelines
About You
To be successful in this role you will have experience in a similar plumbing supervisor role. You must hold a valid plumbing supervisor & contractor licence, issued by the New South Wales Government. Other things we're keen on include :
* Plumbing Expertise : Skilled in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with experience in commercial hot water systems and water metering
* Communication : Clear and effective in both verbal and written communication
* Problem-Solving : Able to quickly resolve technical issues
* Safety Focused : Committed to following and promoting safety protocols
