Job Title: Artistic Director
We are seeking an ambitious and innovative leader to lead our organisation through its next era of development. With a brief to use the city as a stage, the ideal candidate will have the ability to collaborate across borders, progress our growing production footprint and work with other arts companies, stakeholders and donors.
The successful candidate will be a visionary, commercially savvy arts leader with broad networks and the ability to inspire and motivate others. They will have the ability to steer the organisation through the lead up to major events and expand on and build new connections in the arts sphere and also with corporate and government stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a strategic vision for the organisation's artistic direction.
* Lead and manage a team of artists and staff to deliver high-quality productions and programs.
* Collaborate with other arts companies, stakeholders and donors to secure funding and support for the organisation's activities.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners, philanthropic donors and government agencies.
Requirements:
* Degree in Arts Management, Fine Arts or related field.
* Minimum 5 years experience in leadership roles within the arts industry.
* Proven track record of delivering high-quality artistic programs and productions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
