Chef Opportunity in a Remote Camp Kitchen Setting
Our organization is seeking a highly experienced Head Chef to lead their FIFO/DIDO Resources Catering Team in Townsville City. The ideal candidate should possess a Cert III in Commercial Cookery and have extensive experience in head chef roles, particularly in high-volume catering environments.
About the Role:
* Lead a team of kitchen staff to ensure food quality and safety standards are met
* Manage day-to-day operations of the camp kitchen, including menu planning and inventory management
* Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the kitchen team
Key Requirements:
* Cert III in Commercial Cookery
* At least 3 years' experience as a head chef in a high-volume catering environment
* Demonstrated ability to train and develop kitchen staff
