We're seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to lead our commercial management team.
This role is perfect for someone with experience in negotiating contracts, managing subcontractor claims and payments, and working closely with construction and design teams.
About the Role:
* Lead end-to-end commercial management of large subcontracts and self-performed works, ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
* Develop and implement procurement strategies, manage subcontractor engagement, and ensure packages are scoped and delivered efficiently.
* Provide leadership and mentoring to junior commercial staff, while actively managing cost forecasting, contract compliance, and risk mitigation.
* Maintain strong subcontractor relationships and market awareness to drive value and effective contract negotiation.
* Support head contract administration and reporting, including managing variations, claims, dispute resolution, and ensuring compliance with internal systems and industry standards.
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
* Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Economics, Quantity Surveying, Law, or Commerce.
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Contracts Administrator or Quantity Surveyor in the construction and engineering industry.
* Experience in all stages of subcontract management, including scope preparation, procurement, cost forecasting, subcontractor management, claims/variations management, completion, and close out.
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
* Current C-Class Driver's Licence.
