EXPERIENCED MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST POSITION AVAILABLE
GP West have been serving the medical needs of the local community throughout Perth metropolitan area with 17 Medical Centres operating. GP West employ over 130 medical and non-medical staffs who help to deliver the needs of the community in an efficient way. All medical centers are AGPAL accredited for quality in health care.
The Role:
An exciting new opportunity has opened up for a bubbly enthusiastic, experienced medical receptionist.
We are seeking a candidate to start straight away and are looking to find the perfect fit for our family friendly team.
The Medical Receptionist role is the primary point of contact for our patients, doctors and allied health providers.
The successful applicants would be appointed as a Casual employee working in all our medical centers around Perth.
You will be responsible for:
· Greeting patients.
· Handling a variety of patients phone call enquiries.
· Handling a busy switch board.
· Booking appointments and entering patient data.
· Generating invoices and receiving payments.
· Processing Medicare Claims.
· Handling of incoming mail and preparation of mail to send.
· Maintaining doctor's bookings and schedules.
· Being responsive to other team member requests.
· Taking all doctors requests in a timely manner.
· Other ad hoc administration as required.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the medical field.
· Be able to work in a team.
· Best Practice Software experience beneficial.
· Excellent computer abilities including Microsoft Office.
· Exceptional phone manner.
· Be able to multitask and priorities all times.
