The opportunity:
As the 'New' Business Development Manager; your charter is to open & establish new 'logos' across the ANZ region delivering technically challenging engineering led hardware sales environment. Across electronic, embedded & IoT emerging & established markets. A classic 'hunter' role.
Delivering long-cycle industrial opportunities, and technical solutions to new market opportunities are broad, across transportation, medical, retail, government, mining & energy to name a few.
Take your passion for Engineered technology to uncover demand, along with:
* Strategically drive early engagement with relevant buyers such as CTO's.
* Enable team to secure new business, add-ons & growth.
* Supplier, Channel & Product Marketing relationships.
* Maintain trade show and associated industry contacts.
Once engagement commences, the team will do the rest to deliver technical solutions & positive outcomes.
About you:
A Sales professional with a passion for hi-technology engineered solutions, along with:
* Self-driven 'hunter' comfortable working both autonomy & with a team (global & local).
* Focused and goal-oriented
* Prior experience in technology sales within engineering led hardware environments, such as embedded engineering systems, electronics, RF & more, highly regarded.
* Open to travel (30%).
* Articulate & business sales savvy.
