As a Sales Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing Tate's market position by supporting the Regional Sales Manager, working with the BID teams and various other stakeholders internally & externally. As part of the role, you will be supporting the sales of our product ranges in structural ceilings, data centre containment solutions, security caging and modular systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Support RSM to manage Data Centre End Users, General Contractors and Consultants in Australia and NZ.
* Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased opportunities.
* Work with BID team and RSM to deliver accurate tenders and price lists.
* Follow up opportunities and cold call as appropriate within your market to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
* Set up meetings between client decision makers and company's practice leaders/Principals.
* Ensure product line penetration is maximized on all project opportunities.
* Support Dealer deliveries and quality enquiries.
* Development of dealer's architectural presence supporting Tate products.
* Work with marketing coordinator to ensure sales documentation is in-line with regional requirements.
* Maintaining Salesforce opportunities to ensure accurate sales forecasting.
* Participate in industry events and trade shows to promote Tate products and network with potential clients.
* Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
* Provide technical support and training to clients and dealers when required.

Dealers and partners across Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
Education, work experience & skills and personal attributes
Education
* Bachelor's degree: business and engineering majors preferred.
Work experience and skills
* 3-5 years in a sale related role; within construction industry preferred.
* Technical understanding of construction methodology preferred, architectural and/or structural ideal.
* Proficiency in CRM software, particularly Salesforce.
* Familiarity with data analysis and reporting.

Additional Requirements
* Willingness to travel within the region when required.
