 
        
        As a Sales Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing Tate's market position by supporting the Regional Sales Manager, working with the BID teams and various other stakeholders internally & externally. As part of the role, you will be supporting the sales of our product ranges in structural ceilings, data centre containment solutions, security caging and modular systems. 
Key Responsibilities 
- Support RSM to manage Data Centre End Users, General Contractors and Consultants in Australia and NZ. 
- Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased opportunities. 
- Work with BID team and RSM to deliver accurate tenders and price lists. 
- Follow up opportunities and cold call as appropriate within your market to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. 
- Set up meetings between client decision makers and company's practice leaders/Principals. 
- Ensure product line penetration is maximized on all project opportunities. 
- Support Dealer deliveries and quality enquiries. 
- Development of dealer's architectural presence supporting Tate products. 
- Work with marketing coordinator to ensure sales documentation is in-line with regional requirements. 
- Maintaining Salesforce opportunities to ensure accurate sales forecasting. 
- Participate in industry events and trade shows to promote Tate products and network with potential clients. 
- Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions. 
- Provide technical support and training to clients and dealers when required.

Education, work experience & skills and personal attributes 
Education 
- Bachelor’s degree: business and engineering majors preferred. 
Work experience and skills 
- 3-5 years+ in a sale related role; within construction industry preferred. 
- Technical understanding of construction methodology preferred, architectural and/or structural ideal. 
- Proficiency in CRM software, particularly Salesforce. 
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting.
