Job Description
We are currently seeking a casual Handyperson to join the team at Oaks Port Douglas Resort. You will beresponsible for maintaining the presentation of guest rooms and public areas and carrying out repairswithin the property.
About the role:
o Undertake general repairs and maintenance as required;
o Provide induction and supervision of external contractors;
o Implement the preventative maintenance program for each property; and
o Maintain daily work records and service schedules
Hourly rate:
Monday - Friday: $32.25 per hour
Saturday: $32.25 per hour
Sunday: $38.70 per hour
Qualifications
Successful applicants will have:
o Previous hands-on building maintenance experience
o An excellent work-ethic and proven ability to work unsupervised
o Excellent interpersonal and communications
o Full availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
o 12 months experience preferred, not essential
