Great Opportunity for Industrial Electricians to Step into Oil & Gas. Ventia is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team supporting and working on one of our drilling rigs. About The Role
As the Rig Electrician, you will play a key role in maintaining safe and reliable electrical operations on a drilling rig. Your work will include:
Performing preventative and scheduled maintenance on electrical systemsAssisting with breakdowns and supporting critical repairsTroubleshooting and fault-finding on rig electrical equipmentWorking closely with supervisors, rig crews, and maintenance teamsEnsuring compliance with safety and maintenance proceduresContributing to a high-performing team environment

About You
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
A current Electrical Trade QualificationIndustrial or heavy industry experience (oil & gas advantageous)Experience with PLC systems, fault-finding, and maintenanceStrong troubleshooting skills under pressureAbility to use computer systems for reporting and maintenance trackingA valid Open Manual Driver’s LicenceA commitment to working safely in a high-risk environment
