**The Opportunity**
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our state-based centres. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our facilities meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and functionality, providing a safe and nurturing environment for children, families, and staff.
**Your day-to-day**
- Manage the maintenance and operations of multiple early learning centres across the state.
- Oversee contractors and suppliers, ensuring quality service and cost-efficiency.
- Implement preventative maintenance programs and respond to emergency maintenance issues.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with centre managers to understand and address facility needs.
- Develop and manage budgets related to facility maintenance and improvements.
**About You**
- Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in the education or childcare sector.
- Solid knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
- A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel across the state and between centre locations on a periodic schedule once a year and also travel to our corporate offices in SE QLD when required.
