Storeperson – Defence Theatre Logistics (DTL)

We're looking for a dedicated and capable Team Leader to join our team in East Fremantle WA ensuring that all tasks are performed in compliance with Government & Defence contractual requirements, Defence regulations, safety protocols, and operational standards. The role requires a strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working setting.

How you'll make the right impact
As a Team Leader, you'll be the backbone of our site operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant warehouse processes. Reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with Team Leaders, you will:
* Receive, store, pick, pack, and dispatch Defence equipment and supplies.
* Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
* Use warehouse systems to manage stock accurately and action reports.
* Maintain safety standards, site cleanliness, and compliance with Defence regulations.
* Collaborate with your team to achieve operational targets and deliver results that matter.
What you'll bring
* Experience in warehousing, logistics, or related industries including leading a team.
* A current forklift license.
* A valid driver's license (C class).
* Ability to pass a full Commonwealth Security Check.
* Working outdoors to deliver stores and equipment to defence personnel in the field.
* Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.
* Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
* A safety-first mindset.
* Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Eligibility to make the grade
* Be an Australian Citizen.
* Be eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Defence Security Clearance (Baseline level or higher depending on role).
* Be prepared to undertake pre-employment checks including criminal history, medical, and other background assessments.
* You must be entitled to work in Australia and be prepared to undertake pre-employment checks including a criminal history check and medical.
