An exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing food manufacturer that supplies their products to leading retailers and independent distributors throughout Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong. They are passionate about delivering high-quality products to customers and driving business success. As they continue to significantly expand, they have an exciting opportunity for an innovative General Manager to lead their close-knit team to take this company to the next level. In this role you will be across Sales and Marketing, Operations, Relationships with Major Retailers, Business Expansion, Vision and Product Development (NPD).

As this is a newly created role with this organisation, it is truly an opportunity for you to mould your own position and add significant value.

**Key Responsibilities**:
As the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business forward. Your responsibilities will include:

- **Sales and Marketing**:Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share. Leverage your prior experience to identify and capitalise on opportunities within the FMCG sector.
- **Operations**: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and effective processes. Your keen operational insights will optimise productivity and minimise costs.
- **Finance**: While not required, a background in finance is preferred. Use your financial acumen to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance effectively.
- **Relationships with Major Retailers**:Forge and maintain strong relationships with key players like Coles and Woolworths buyers. Your prior experience with these major retailers will be invaluable.
- **Business Expansion**:Embrace your small business mindset and drive to grow and expand operations. Champion innovation and explore new avenues for business development.
- **Vision**: Bring your strategic thinking to the table. Develop and execute a long-term vision for the business that will lead this company to new heights.
- **Product Development**:Your skills in new product development (NPD) will help this business stay ahead of the curve in a competitive market. Generate and implement ideas that keep their product range fresh and exciting.

**Skills and Qualifications**:
**To be successful in this position you will have the following skill-set**:

- 10+ years of experience in FMCG with a demonstrated track record of success
- Proven sales and marketing experience that has driven growth and profitability
- Strong background in operations management, optimising processes for efficiency
- Finance experience (is preferred but not required)
- Strategic thinker, able to develop and execute long-term plans
- Prior experience working with Coles and Woolworths buyers in the retail industry
- Small business-minded with a passion for growing and expanding operations
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and work across all areas of the business
- Visionary outlook, dedicated to the long-term success of the company.
- A proven track record in new product development (NPD)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Full-time
