Position Details
Site Location: BIRCHIP, VICTORIA 3483, AUSTRALIA
Onsite Date and Time: 6th March 2026 at 11AM AEST
Scope of Work: Replace 1 firewall.
Note: Tech needs to carry RJ45 to USB console cable.
Other Dispatch/Adhoc Requirements
* Experience in handling desktop/network issues
* Capable of installing and upgrading operating systems
* Install patches
* Software and hardware break/fix
* Well-versed network engineer (Good to have CCNA or above certification)
* Basics of Wi-Fi
* Basics of networks, LAN, WAN, Switch and router configuration
* Install and administer MS Office
* Business English with local language
Standard Tools Engineers Need to Carry While Going to Site
* Fully charged laptop with Win8 or 10 operating system and admin rights
* Cisco console cable (DB9 – RJ45 or USB RJ45). If USB converter used, make sure drivers are properly installed.
* Laptop should have following programs/software installed: Putty, Team Viewer, TFTP server, Screw Driver Set, Internet data card.
* TECH MUSH have console cable and laptop and have ability to console into Cisco router and use Webex.
Note
This is on‐call basis for dispatch/adhoc, backfill projects, and the scope of work varies from client to client. Above mentioned is the general JD.
