OSHC Assistant Educator - Geelong, VIC Outside School Hours Care Service Assistant $29 - $33 Per Hour Generous Allowances Casual position The Opportunity VillageOSHC Children at Grovedale Primary School in Geelong are looking for an OSHC Service Assistant to play, teach, and take care of them in a safe learning environment at Before and After School Care. Flexibility to work within the Geelong area will be an advantage. The Role Before School Care 7:00am to 9:00am After School Care 3:00pm to 6:00pm Holiday care up to 6 hours per day Assist in delivering daily quality activities for children that are safe, fun, stimulating, and carry educational value. Supervise and support children. Prepare and serve healthy food options. Create an engaging and happy environment for children. Build meaningful relationships with your colleagues, the children, families, school leaders, and the school community. Flexibility to work at nearby schools in the Geelong community About You Engaging and warm personality. Strong focus on child safety and appreciation for mandatory reporting. Excellent communication and people skills. You hold Certificate III or higher in Children’s Services (or studying towards) or equivalent which can be recognised for children's services. Working with Children Check (willing to obtain). HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (willing to obtain). Available to work Monday to Friday.
