The Role
We’re seeking a Maintenance Engineering & Technical Officer to support site operations through a mix of engineering analysis, reliability support and field engagement.
This is a fluid role. You’ll be working across downtime analysis, maintenance improvements, and operational support, helping drive availability, cost control and safety outcomes.
You’ll work closely with planning, reliability and site teams, providing practical recommendations and supporting execution on site.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Reviewing equipment downtime and availability to identify improvement opportunities
* Supporting major repair decisions and defining preferred solutions
* Working with planning teams to achieve availability targets
* Identifying and managing warranty claims
* Developing cost improvement initiatives
* Supporting reliability improvement activities
* Providing visible leadership in the field
* Reviewing and improving processes to enhance safety outcomes
What You’ll Bring
* Experience in maintenance engineering or technical officer roles
* Background in mining or heavy industry environments
* Strong understanding of equipment reliability and maintenance processes
* Ability to analyse data and provide practical recommendations
* Comfortable working both in the field and across technical tasks
* Flexible mindset and ability to prioritise in a changing environment
* Must have the right to work in Australia
