The Role
We are seeking an experienced, motivated nurse to join our 20-bed Respiratory Ward as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager. This role combines clinical expertise and leadership, supporting the delivery of exceptional patient care while actively contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
You will work across a rotating roster (AM, PM, Night duty) and support a highly collaborative team caring for patients with respiratory illnesses, infectious diseases, and general medical conditions.
Key responsibilities
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with patients and the multidisciplinary team
* Deliver care in alignment with Cabrini's organisational goals, Mission, and Values
* Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality
* Support and mentor team members while fostering a positive ward culture
About you
* Current AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
* Relevant Respiratory/Medical experience (essential)
* Commitment to quality patient care and outcomes
* Previous nursing management experience (desirable)
* Ability to work in accordance with Cabrini's Mission and Values
* Flexible, positive, and detail-oriented with strong teamwork skills
* Excellent communication and customer service focus
