Are you an experienced proactive, dynamic, and forward-thinking recruitment team leader with a passion for ensuring talent acquisition turns into long term engagement? QBuild are seeking an AO5 Recruitment and Engagement Advisor to join our team. Our team charter is to attract top talent, engage stakeholders, and drive innovative recruitment practices.
About the Role
The team leader role requires someone with a strong ability to lead a team in a high volume environment across diverse markets. You will need a keen eye for detail, highly developed administrative and data analysis skills with a solid background in recruitment and marketing. You will have a well developed appreciation and understanding of how good governance and streamlined processes and talent identification fits in the public sector environment. The role requires someone with an ability to lead, develop, build and maintain robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that expertise and advice is sought and respected. The role is an important leader of a mid-size team with specific goals and targets to be achieved in short timeframes.
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll need to bring your energy, innovative thinking, agility, and ability to lead and balance operational tasks with understanding and appreciation for good governance. You're a natural communicator in all arenas who takes your team and stakeholders on a journey, building rapport and inspiring collaboration and trust. Your skills as an all-rounder will enable you to tackle challenges head-on and deliver exceptional results in an ever-changing environment. Your comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Queensland Public Sector Recruitment and Selection legislation will distinguish you from the field.

Team leader experience and excellence.
Knowledge and experience recruiting using the Queensland Public Sector Recruitment and Selection legislation.
Adaptable and open to change.
Proactive thinker with a continuous improvement mindset.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
Skilled at fostering a collaborative, positive team culture.
Strong knowledge of Queensland Public Service recruitment requirements, best practices and governance.
Marketing expertise, particularly employment attraction strategies.
Autonomous worker with a heightened sense of responsibility.
Desire and capacity to grow into leadership roles as needed.
