We are searching for a
Senior Strategy Manager
on behalf of a leading Big 4 bank. This role sits within
Retail Banking
and is focused on setting and executing the strategy for
Customer, Engagement, Product Propositions & Pricing. The remit covers some of the bank’s highest-profile priorities ensuring customers feel rewarded, supported, and engaged, while also delivering commercial impact through growth and strong product positioning. The successful candidate will act as a trusted strategic advisor to senior executives, as well as a
2IC
in key forums, representing Retail Banking across the business. Key focus areas include: Leading the Customer Engagement strategy. Shaping product strategies and supporting pricing execution. Driving strategic planning cycles, supporting annual planning, investment prioritisation, and alignment with Group Strategy. Managing the budgets and ensuring investment and resource prioritisation is aligned with strategic goals. Support partnerships, M&A; opportunities, and innovation within Retail Banking. Representing Retail Banking in cross-bank forums and influencing senior stakeholders. The ideal profile: Background in
top-tier consulting, corporate strategy, or banking strategy/insights. We are looking for senior applicants with 10-15 years of experience who can act as a 2IC alongside the Head of Strategy. Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and competing priorities. Exceptional influencing and communication skills, able to gain senior buy-in. Someone who thrives in a
lean, high-impact setting, comfortable operating without direct reports but with ownership of significant outcomes. A demonstrated understanding of the banking industry is required.
