Queensland Health is seeking a forward-thinking Operations Manager to lead the transformation of linen services across our three primary laundry sites.
This is a unique opportunity to drive operational excellence, automation, and innovation in a critical healthcare support function.
As part of the Supply Chain Branch, you'll shape the future of healthcare laundry operations through smart systems, data-driven decision-making, and a high-performance workforce culture.
What You'll Do:
? Lead strategic planning, budgeting, and performance reporting
? Drive operational efficiency and customer service excellence
? Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement (LEAN Six Sigma)
? Provide motivational leadership to Site Laundry Managers
? Oversee HR functions and support union consultation
? Ensure risk management and emergency preparedness
What We're Looking For:
Proven leadership in laundry or manufacturing operations
Experience implementing automation and innovative solutions
Strong financial, HR, and stakeholder engagement skills
High-level technical knowledge of laundry operations and supply chain integration
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
C-class driver's licence (travel required across sites)
Vaccination against specified diseases may be required
