Remuneration: $68,50 - $69.86 per hour

Blacktown Hospital is part of a growing and diverse health district delivering specialist cancer and haematology services to Western Sydney?s community.

You will join a collaborative and values driven Cancer and Haematology Centre known for innovation, inclusion and strong clinical leadership.

? Be part of the Sydney West Cancer Network
? Collaborate with multidisciplinary and community partners
? Support culturally diverse and complex patient cohorts

What you'll be doing
In this senior clinical nursing role, you will provide advanced leadership in coordinating complex cancer care to ensure safe, seamless and high quality patient journeys.

? Lead complex patient centred care coordination across acute and community settings
? Provide expert consultancy and clinical supervision to nursing and MDT staff
? Develop implement and evaluate care management plans and education programs
? Lead quality improvement research and evidence based practice initiatives
? Contribute to strategic and operational planning at local and network level

Essential criteria

* Registration: Current Registered Nurse Division 1 with the Australian Health Regulation Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Selection Criteria

* 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in relevant specialty. In addition, have an approved Post graduate nursing qualification in specialty, or such other qualification or experience deemed appropriate by organisation

* Demonstrated ability to provide leadership that facilitates the ongoing development of evidenced based clinical practice

* Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.

* Demonstrated effective written and oral communication with negotiation and conflict management skills

* Demonstrated experience working as a member of a multidisciplinary team

* Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills showing initiative and leadership to junior members of the team
