As a Research Fellow in the Pask Lab ( and Frankenberg Lab ( you'll spearhead the development of conservation biotechnology in amphibians. You'll have the opportunity to find solutions to chytrid infection in threatened frogs as well as contribute to genetic biocontrol for invasive species. This role offers you the chance to work on the innovative molecular biology techniques, collaborate with diverse teams, and contribute to high-impact publications in a supportive academic environment.

2. C o nduct Innovative Research: Design and perform experiments in molecular biology, protein biochemistry, cell biology, and gene editing, focusing on amphibian systems.M
3. anage Collaborative Projects: Lead and participate in team projects, overseeing experimental design, data analysis, and manuscript preparation.C
4. ontribute to Academic Output: Publish research findings in high-impact journals and present results at meetings and conferences.S
* upervise and Mentor: Guide students and technical staff, contributing to their training and development in the field.Yo
u may be a great fit if:

ou are a skilled researcher with a PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, genetics, or a related field, possessing a strong publication record and the ability to conduct independent research in non-model animal systems, particularly amphibians. Y

5. ve experience in genetic manipulation of vertebrates, especially using CRISPR technology.Pos
6. sess strong skills in protein biochemistry and molecular biology techniques.Dem
