Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Behavior Support Clinician, based in Newcastle, NSW with some work-from-home flexibility. The Behavior Support Clinician will be responsible for developing and implementing personalized behavior support plans, conducting assessments, providing training and support to stakeholders, and monitoring the effectiveness of interventions. The role involves regular collaboration with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge and experience in creating and implementing behavior support plans
* Ability to conduct assessments and evaluations effectively
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with clients, families, and other professionals
* Proficiency in training and providing ongoing support to stakeholders
* Capacity to monitor and adjust interventions as needed for optimal outcomes
* Relevant qualifications in psychology, social work, or related field
* Experience working with individuals with disabilities and challenging behaviors is preferred
* Current driver's license and willingness to travel within the region
