About the Role
We seek an experienced PERU Operator to join our team at Tullamarine Depot.
This role involves assisting with construction and maintenance of overhead electrical networks.
You will operate plant and equipment safely and effectively, facilitating tasks such as boring holes and lifting power poles into position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support electrical line workers with essential plant operation
* Conduct risk assessments/job safety analysis prior to site work
* Collaborate with teams to upgrade and maintain the electrical network safely
* Complete tasks within designated time frames to meet customer requirements
About You
The ideal candidate has prior experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
You should possess:
* A valid Australian HR Driver's Licence with HC (Heavy Combination) endorsement
* A High Risk Work Licence with C2 Endorsement
* A strong understanding of electrical safety practices and relevant legislation, codes, and industry standards
