Recruitment Coordinator

AbbVie is currently seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to join our dynamic HR team. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager – ANZ, you will support the end‐to‐end recruitment process, from managing candidate contact and scheduling interviews to coordinating pre‐employment checks and onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

NOTE: This is a 3‐day per week (Mon‐Wed), 1‐year max‐term contract opportunity.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Schedule and coordinate interview arrangements across multiple time zones, in‐person or virtual, per hiring manager preferences and local policies.
* Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system, updating status as candidates progress.
* Act as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment cycle.
* Coordinate pre‐employment activities, including offer management and digital onboarding initiation.
* Assist with new hire registration and onboarding prior to Day 1.
* Support the Talent Acquisition Manager with sourcing, reference checks, and job posting management.
* Monitor the local Careers inbox for external enquiries and interview adjustments.
* Support employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives for the affiliate.
* Generate recruitment metrics and reports, including management of referrals.
* Ensure compliance with hiring policies, procedures, and local employment legislation.
* Provide exceptional candidate experience through timely, professional communication.
* Adhere to AbbVie's codes of conduct, WHS programs and compliance processes.
* Other ad‐hoc administrative duties as requested.
Qualifications
* Good understanding of the recruitment process and familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS such as Workday.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong active listening, interpersonal and communication skills at all organizational levels.
* Exceptional attention to detail and problem‐solving abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
