About the Role:
Specific duties at Glenala State High School
* Support Students to become more engaged with the culture of Glenala State High School through the creation and delivery of events, clubs and lunchtime activities
* Oversee and lead the delivery of school-based support programs for identified students
* Provide a supportive case-management relationship with identified students
* Provide de-escalation, restorative practices and support for students when required
* Oversee and lead the delivery of student wellbeing programs in collaboration with external providers
Key Responsibilities:
* Support student wellbeing by working with the school, families, and external agencies.
* Monitor and address attendance issues to improve student engagement.
* Assist students facing challenges at school or home to achieve positive outcomes.
* Build strong relationships between the school and families to encourage consistent attendance.
* Develop and implement programs to enhance social skills, self-esteem, and confidence.
