Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Risk and Compliance Advisor for a full-time on-site role at our Ashgrove, QLD, location. In this role, you will oversee and manage compliance programs, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and College policies. Key responsibilities include identifying and mitigating risks, monitoring compliance performance, conducting audits, providing advice on legal frameworks, and fostering a culture of ethical practices. You will also develop effective strategies and collaborate with staff to maintain best practices in risk management and compliance.
Qualifications
* Expertise in Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance to ensure adherence to legal and industry standards.
* Strong Analytical Skills to assess risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
* Excellent Communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams and deliver clear guidance on compliance matters.
* Ability to stay updated on relevant legislation and policy changes, with a proactive approach to implementing improvements.
* Relevant qualifications in law, business, finance, or a related field are highly desirable.
* Experience working in similar roles within an educational, non-profit, or mission-driven organization is advantageous.
