We support young people aged 15–25 to gain the confidence, skills, and connections they need to move into sustainable employment or further education.Our team is passionate about removing barriers, creating opportunities, and building strong local partnerships.
We work side-by-side with young people, employers, and community groups to ensure every participant has the right fit for their future.
About the Role
We are excited to launch this new role of Community Engagement Officer, designed to strengthen awareness of the TtW program and connect with young people who will benefit most from our support.
Proactively identify and engage new participants who are eligible for Transition to Work.
Build strong referral networks with schools, community groups, and local services.
Host events and outreach activities that showcase how TtW supports young people.
Lead community engagement activities that increase program visibility and participant enrolments.
Work closely with Job Coaches to ensure a smooth handover of new participants into the program.
This is a KPI-driven role, focused on engagement outcomes, participant sign-ups, and effective outreach.
Location and FTE
This role will be based between our Sale and Bairnsdale Offices and require outreach to areas around Wellington and East Gippsland.
This is a part-time role 0.6FTE / 22.8 hours per week with the flexibility to spread these hours over 3, 4 or 5 days to suit.
About You
You will thrive in this role if you:
Are confident in engaging young people and community stakeholders.
Have experience in outreach, youth services, community development, employment services or business development.
Are self-motivated and enjoy working to clear goals and targets.
Have excellent communication and presentation skills.
Are able to work flexibly across the Wellington and East Gippsland regions (current driver's licence required).
