The Mental Health and Wellbeing Connect Centers will form an integral component of the reformed Mental Health and Wellbeing system in Victoria.
About the Role
As our new Family Peer Worker, you will partner with families, friends, and carers to offer individualized support around areas of challenge. You will also facilitate network meetings and deliver group training and courses to strengthen carers' ability to sustain their caring role.
This role allows for flexibility, enabling you to work at times that suit you best.

Requirements
* Personal lived experience of caring for someone with mental health challenges or psychosocial distress and recovery.
* Certificate IV/Diploma in Mental Health, AOD, or tertiary qualification in social science, plus relevant work experience in the mental health sector or intentional Peer Support Training.
* Demonstrated knowledge of family and caring roles and their impact on carers' health and wellbeing to determine support requirements.
* National Police Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Orientation Module, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and evidence of right to work within Australia.
