regional Western Australia. We specialise in high-quality commercial, industrial, hospitality,
and retail fitouts. We are a looking for a Full-time Carpenter to join our team.
Position Overview
The Carpenter will be responsible for delivering high-quality carpentry and joinery work
across various commercial fit-out projects. The role involves interpreting plans, constructing
frameworks, installing fixtures, and ensuring all work is performed in accordance with
Australian Standards and company safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Construct, install, repair, and maintain structures and fixtures made of wood, timber,
and substitute materials.
Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials using hand and power tools.
Construct and install wall framing, partitions, suspended ceilings, doors, windows,
skirting, architraves, cabinetry, fixtures, and fittings.
Read and interpret architectural drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate
execution of works.
Install commercial fit-out elements including framing, sheeting, ceilings, flooring
systems, and prefabricated components.
Contribute to efficient project delivery under tight deadlines typical of commercial fit-
out environments.
Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades to ensure smooth
workflow.
Conduct layout and set-out using appropriate measuring and levelling tools.
Ensure all installations meet required building codes, standards, and WHS
regulations.
Follow all company safety policies and adhere to WorkSafe WA and building
compliance standards.
Inspect and test completed carpentry work to verify structural integrity, quality, and
finish.
Maintain a clean and organised worksite.
Skills & Experience Required
Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Carpenter
Strong ability to read and interpret building plans and construction drawings.
Skilled in using a range of carpentry tools, equipment, and machinery.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
