Customer Service Representative
At our hotel, we strive to deliver exceptional guest experiences. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, handling their inquiries and requests in a helpful, professional, yet warm and friendly manner.
We are looking for an individual who is proficient in written and verbal English communication, able to work cohesively within a team, and has a focus on guest needs. You will be responsible for promoting positive relations with all guests and patrons, using good judgment in handling difficult situations.
The ideal candidate will have secondary education or relevant hotel management qualifications, with a minimum of 1 year's experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a four or five-star hotel environment. Additionally, you will be familiar with fire and emergency procedures and your responsibilities in case of an emergency.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Promoting the brand philosophy through exemplary attitude, behavior, and excellent communication skills.
- Responsible and accountable for logging and the correct, prompt, and efficient handling of all guest messages.
- Researching and providing specific directory information to internal and external inquirers, according to policy and procedure.
- Utilizing public address, paging, and voicemail systems to ensure proper routing of calls.
- Attending to all guest inquiries and requests in a helpful, professional, yet warm and friendly manner.
- Ensuring rapid response from concerned departments.
- Handling wake-up call requests from guests.
- Maintaining switchboard directory and performing miscellaneous switchboard tasks.
- Ensuring the front office information board is well presented and up-to-date.
