Maintain clear communication, effective delegation, and commercial focus to uphold performance and company standards.
* Leading project delivery from concept design through to construction, ensuring technical excellence.
* Playing a key role in business development and client engagement, including maintaining and expanding existing relationships.
* Identifying new opportunities and contributing to strategic planning and growth initiatives.
* Overseeing project financials including fee proposals, resourcing, budgeting, and profitability.
* Managing and mentoring engineers and drafters within the team, fostering a high-performance culture.
* Peer review of design work and documentation to ensure quality and compliance.
* Representing the business in client meetings, presentations, and industry forums.
* Contributing to the continual improvement of systems, processes, and design standards.
Key Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years' relevant project technical experience in the consulting or engineering industry.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications (Structural/Civil Engineering).
* CPEng/NER accreditation.
* Registered Design Practitioner or on pathway to achieve, highly desirable.
* Strong leadership capabilities and experience managing teams and/or projects.
* Proven ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
* A track record of driving business performance through technical and commercial contributions.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and influence.
