Optical Consultant

Key Responsibilities:
1. Meet and greet patients with a smile, answer phones, book appointments, manage emails, filing and scanning, and other administrative duties.
2. Assist patients in selecting frames and sunglasses, considering their visual needs, prescription requirements, and personal style preferences.
3. Provide expert advice and recommendations on lens options to enhance vision and overall eyewear experience.
4. Conduct frame adjustments, repairs, and minor maintenance to ensure optimal fit and comfort.
5. Place and track orders for lenses, frames, and accessories, coordinating with external suppliers and maintaining inventory control.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a receptionist or customer service/retail assistant is ideal but not essential.
* Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive demeanor.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
* Attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
