Pediatric Clinical Expert
We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Clinical Expert to provide high-quality care and guidance to individuals, families, and healthcare professionals within our multidisciplinary team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for experienced nurses to leverage their expertise and passion for pediatric care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
As a Pediatric Clinical Expert, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical advice, education, and support to individuals, their families, nursing staff, and other health professionals. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based clinical procedures and policies. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to build effective relationships with colleagues, patients, and families.
* We are looking for a Registered Nurse with at least 5 years of full-time equivalent postgraduate experience who can demonstrate knowledge and understanding in applying research and evidence-based practice to the workplace.
* Demonstrated ability to think critically, problem-solve, and link outcomes to the principles of continuous quality improvement in the clinical specialty field is essential.
* A proven track record of clinical leadership capabilities, including consultancy advice, education, and support to individuals, their families, nursing staff, and other health professionals, is required.

You will be working in Southern NSW Local Health District, covering a large area of the southern half of NSW, surrounding the ACT on three sides and extending down to the Victorian border. Our district has 18 facilities, and our hospitals take care of more than 200,000 people. As a major local employer, our staff are part of our local communities.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, and have a proven ability to develop, implement, present, and evaluate education, clinical procedures, and policies to staff and the community. A current unrestricted drivers' license and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires are also essential.
