Safety Specialist LPC
Ensuring comprehensive safety across the Portland Large Parts Campus involves monitoring potential health and safety conditions, identifying problems, and recommending solutions to mitigate risks.
Primary Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
* Utilizing the Global Safety Database supports and investigates safety-related incidents across multiple sites while reviewing written complaints regarding safety conditions.
* Leading and supporting line supervisors in promoting and maintaining safety standards on the production floor.
* Providing safety guidance and expertise to committees across various locations.
* Collaborating with supervisors to manage the Light Duty Work Program, ensuring eligible employees are appropriately assigned.
For this role, a strong understanding of global safety protocols, excellent communication skills, and ability to lead by example is essential. Safety specialists must be proactive in identifying and mitigating potential hazards, fostering a culture of safety awareness throughout the organization.
